Turn Learning Into a Practical Improvement Project

Designed for professionals, aspiring operations leaders, veterans, and transitioning service members, this self-paced program connects Lean Six Sigma tools with practical project work. Follow the DMAIC approach—Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control—to develop an improvement project and communicate your recommendations. Your eight-week path: Week 1: Select your project and develop the project charter. Week 2: Map the process and establish a measurement baseline. Week 3: Analyze root causes and identify improvement opportunities. Week 4: Develop improvements and a pilot plan; complete the Operations Management examination. Week 5: Plan to sustain the gains and work with cost analysis and Excel. Week 6: Explore deeper Black Belt concepts and document business impact. Week 7: Connect Scrum, Agile, and leadership recommendations to your project. Week 8: Review your work and submit your final A3 project. Expect weekly project activities, required discussions, and peer-review work. Review the course requirements and project rubric in the opening modules, and follow the assessment and submission instructions throughout the program. Enroll to begin with your syllabus and course orientation.
