About the course

The Scrum Master Certification Course is designed to introduce students to the Scrum framework and show how it can be used to improve communication, alignment, accountability, and team performance. Students will learn the foundations of Scrum, Scrum Team accountabilities, Scrum events, Scrum artifacts, Scrum values, and how Scrum is applied in real-world environments. This course is practical, discussion-based, and built for students who want to understand how teams plan work, solve problems, inspect progress, adapt, and deliver value. This course is offered at no cost as part of Star Global College’s mission to remove barriers and create workforce development opportunities for veterans, service members, military families, and professionals. By the end of the course, students should be able to explain Scrum, identify the role of the Scrum Master, understand how Scrum events work, and apply Scrum concepts to workplace challenges.
